Introduction
I would like to ask you something general to kick things off, so please provide some personal background as well as some references you guys looked at before creating Savage. I have been a filmmaker for more than 10 years and I have worked with major brands like Amazon, Samsung, TCL, Adobe and more to create content and build their campaigns. In reference to creating SAVAGE, we looked at major NFT platforms (OpenSea, Rarible etc.) and stock media platforms (ArtGrid, Shutterstock etc).
You call yourselves the first community driven and eco-friendly NFT media marketplace focused on Hollywood-quality video and photography. How does that work in practice for your users? Please give us some explanation on that. 7 billion people have a camera in their pocket. Smartphone capture and display technology is advancing at an incredible pace and so everyone is and can be a “content creator”. At SAVAGE, we have built a marketplace for everyone, from industry leading creators using the latest and greatest gear, to the up and coming smartphone creators.
So is it correct to admit you’re trying to solve a real-world problem related to curated NFT videos? Absolutely! Content monetization is and has been broken for filmmakers and photographers. It’s been broken for a long time. NFTs and blockchain can disrupt this industry just as it disrupts others.
Nice! I noted you shortly described some of your core values in your pitch deck. What are they and how are they connected to your main vision? Being carbon-neutral and giving class leading payout percentages to our creators is the most important thing. We are all creators ourselves so making sure that creators come first is easy and it helps us keep the priorities of the platform in sight.
I see. Would you mind talking a little bit more about some killer features we can see on Savage? Maybe those resources that really make you stand out! 98% Creator payout, Low $10 flat minting, Stripe integration, 2GB file sizes, “Team NFTs”, Rights managed contracts in the metadata and many more.
Partnerships are an essential part of the whole strategy for any project. Can you please name some of the latest partnerships you guys made? What about the importance of them and what do you expect to get from them aiming for Savage’s growth? We are partnering with Faculty Labs, the Crypto Climate Accord, the 8K Association and many more that we will announce in the coming weeks. All of our launch creators have personal ties with major legacy brands so that is always going to be a focal point for SAVAGE.
Cool. It’s time to introduce your native token to our community! What do you have to say about SAVG in terms of tokenomics and how does it fit within your ecosystem? The SAVG token fuels the entire marketplace. It is built on Polygon to allow low minting fees and carbon neutrality but it also gives us an easy bridge to ETH 2.0 when that time comes. Since SAVAGE will move to a DAO, the SAVG token is integral in the short and long term growth through liquidity mining, discounts and governance.
How can one buy some of your tokens? What’s the current status? I bet some of our members are curious about how to purchase some SAVG tokens right now :) We are coming to market in mid-December so keep an eye out for IDO announcements and follow us on our socials!
Great! I took a look at your roadmap and it’s fully packed with activities. What do enthusiasts/investors can expect when it comes to future plans? What do you have in mind for Savage in the next few months and years?From partnerships with prominent photographers and filmmakers to unique SAVAGE exclusive projects, IDO announcements, and our platform launch, the next couple of months are going to be really exciting! Our long-term vision includes an expansion into different forms of content, cross-market interoperability, and a DAO rollout. We want the platform to empower creators and allow them to shape the future.
