Myko (CryptoDiffer): Can you introduce yourself to our community?
Luke Neumann: Of course! I am the CEO of SAVAGE and have worked as a filmmaker for the past decade for major brands like Amazon, Samsung, TCL, Adobe, Panasonic and many more. I created the SAVAGE YouTube channel which currently has over 143,000 subscribers and now we are merging everything from that world into the blockchain space!
Myko (CryptoDiffer): Can you introduce Savage to us?
Luke Neumann: SAVAGE is the world’s first carbon-neutral marketplace for videos and photos in the Metaverse, Web3 and beyond. Our mission is to be a place where photographers and videographers of all skill levels can generate income on their work freely, ethically and fairly.
Myko (CryptoDiffer): Let’s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?
Luke Neumann: We have completed our private funding round with some amazing backers, our marketplace has been in development for about 6 months and is a few weeks away from being ready. Our team is full and we are rounding out our partnerships every day! We are moving towards a dual IEO/IDO in January and exchange listing shortly after!
Q: For a project like this, there’ll be need for funding from partners and VCs is this funding in place? And if yes can you tell us about your partners and VCs
If no, what are your plans to raise funds??
Luke Neumann: We have some amazing backers and partners! Q: I learnt that Savage’s content have been used by large companies. Can you give us some names of these large companies that have used your content? And why do you think these companies used your content?
Luke Neumann: Of course! We have worked with some amazing companies like Amazon, National Geographic, Tesla, Google, BBC, Samsung, TCL, Adobe, Microsoft, Panasonic, DJI, and many more! These companies have used our content because all of our creators have spent years (and even decades) working on their craft!
Q: One of the things that got my attention is that SAVAGE call itself that is the first “ carbon-neutral” platform, so I really don’t get what do you mean with it, so can you explain us ?
Luke Neumann: SAVAGE is 100% carbon-neutral, meaning all of the energy used within our marketplace to process transactions will be removed or cancelled out. Resulting in net zero emmisions. By building on Polygon (MATIC) we consume much less energy per transaction than PoW marketplaces. Being carbon-neutral is crucial for our entire team, the marketplace but most importantly, our creators!
Q: Regarding the artists and creators, how do they make the selection? Are you planning to run campaigns to include the most creative creators among the designers on your team? Or is it not necessary because each user will be able to create their own content in SAVAGE?
Luke Neumann: Each user will be able to upload their own content! Our internal team at SAVAGE is full of some great designers and creators but the community will fill the SAVAGE marketplace with content.
Q: It said Savage YouTube Channel has over than 143,000 subscribers, what are main info we can ge there, and how the plans about future marketing programs?
Luke Neumann: We will be filling the YouTube channel with informative videos regarding the marketplace, closer to launch. Additionally, we have some amazing viral videos in the works to drive engagement and brand exposure. It’s going to be very fun and the YouTube channel of SAVAGE will be the focus!
