@Minini00: I wonder what motivated you to design SAVAGE and what areas you are currently focusing on.
Luke Neumann: The world of content monetization for photos and videos has been broken for some time. NFTs have represented a renaissance for artists but photo and video creators have yet to fully embrace it. This is due to the excessive gas fees, energy consumption and low file size limits. There are other factors but those were the key areas that we have addressed at launch.
@Saramsallyae: NFTs are undeniably a big deal in the blockchain space right now. There are an increasing number of NFTs being created across a broad range of platforms like music, art, gaming and collectibles. So how does SAVAGE differrents from the other multi-chain #NFT marketplace?
Luke: There are 7 Billion people with a camera in their pocket. The photo and video landscape is massive and only continues to grow with each iPhone iteration. SAVAGE connects these two markets by working with some of the top creators and brands and by building a fair and ethical platform for them to sell their work on!
@pakurri: If you operate the platform, you will generate revenue from it. I would like to know how the SAVAGE Foundation plans to use this revenue.
Luke: Great question! The creators get 98% of each sale, a half a percent lower than OpenSea and minting is only $10. We wanted to keep the marketplace lean and not take on a team of 50 people to run it because the goal is to become a DAO as quickly as possible. We want the individual artist to own their footage and for the marketplace to simply act as a tool, not a middle man. So, to answer your question: We plan to use revenue to work towards a DAO as quickly as we can!
@chashar: The eco-friendly NFT media marketplace seems to have never been a concept before. I’d appreciate it if you could explain specifically what this means.
Luke: Many of our top creators have brand deals with companies like Tesla, National Geographic, BBC, Amazon and more. These brand deals would be revoked if these creators minted NFTs on the current marketplaces and so the majority of them haven’t. There is both a social pressure and a brand pressure that influencers need to maintain. Being carbon-neutral is crucial for our entire team, the marketplace but most importantly, our creators!
@bijajag: What are your main features that distinguish you from other projects and what competitive advantages do you have?
Luke: 98% creator payouts, 2GB file size limits, Rights Managed Contracts baked into the NFT, $10 Flat Minting, Team NFTs and a pathway to full DAO!
