Bobby: Great to have Luke once again with us.
Luke Neumann: Pleasure to be back again with tehMoonwalkeR!
Bobby: As usual, I will be your host today. Let’s start with some introduction for those who have newly joined our group.
Please tell us about yourself and your role in the project?
Luke Neumann: Of course! I am CEO of SAVAGE and have worked as a filmmaker for the past decade for major brands like Amazon, Samsung, TCL, Adobe, Panasonic and many more. I created the SAVAGE YouTube channel which currently has over 143,000 subscribers and now we are merging everything from that world into the blockchain world!
Bobby: Great to have you today with us.
In the previous AMA You mentioned about Savage being the world’s first carbon-neutral NFT marketplace for photo & video. Please give us a brief overview how far has the development reached and when are you going to launch the marketplace?
Luke Neumann: Of course! We are about 6 months into active development right now and the marketplace is approximately 4 weeks away from being live! Can’t wait to share it and we will be doing a UX/UI walkthrough tutorial here soon!

Smartphone camera technology is evolving rapidly and everyone wants be a content creator. How is SAVAGE going to use this scenario for their project’s benefit? Please tell us about the features of the project.
Luke Neumann: You are 100% correct on that. Smartphone cameras are getting crazy. The Portrait Mode of iPhone still blows my mind! We will implementing connections to platforms like Instagram and YouTube to make it easy for creators to monetize their work. Then we will also be catering to the higher end by allowing large file sizes (up to 2GB) and multiple high end file types (ProRes, RAW etc).
Bobby: Yeah, iPhone camera is the best among smartphones.
As you stated above SAVAGE has a huge community in YouTube.
But these people are mostly creators without much knowledge of NFT or blockchain technology. How are you going to teach and attract them to the Crypto space?
Luke Neumann: It starts with the marketplace and the UI. We are working to keep most of the blockchain stuff “under the hood” when possible so that entry into the crypto space is fairly seamless. It’s not only the creators but also the brands! We have connections to major brands that WILL want the content but if it’s too complicated to purchase, they likely won’t do it. This has been a major focal point throughout the developmental process.
Bobby: That sounds good, especially from creators point of view.
You have an upcoming IDO coming up. Please share the details with the community and how can community members join the public sale?
Luke Neumann: We originally had IDO dates for this month but moved them to January to coincide with the marketplace launch. Even though it’s typical in crypto to launch the token first and the product later, there are too many important things surrounding PR and our launch that require the marketplace being live. So we moved the IDO to continue building our amazing community and to be able to start showing off the working product/marketplace first, not later.
Bobby: Any new partnership added to the list of backers? How are these partners helping for the growth of the project?
Luke Neumann: We have some amazing partnerships and backers! And lastly, please tell us about the major milestones that you have in your checklist for late 2021 and early 2022?
Please tell us about your Roadmap.
Luke Neumann: We are pushing to get the marketplace out in 2021 with early 2022 (VERY early) being IDO and hopefully IEO. In the meantime we will be announcing some major brands, creators and partnerships for the rest of this month leading up to the marketplace unveiling. The big stuff is all going to drop in early-mid January though :)
Bobby: The project looks amazing, hope it turns out to be successful.
Community Questions
Q: Do the token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?
Luke Neumann: As we move from our initial release towards full DAO, token ownership will provide governance rights. So the value of the tokens, internally, will increase with every passing month after launch as we implement more and more autonomous features!
Q: What is the competitive advantage of your project? Can you point out the strengths of your project that other projects do not have to attract investors?
Luke Neumann: Our main advantages are: 98% Creator Payouts, 2GB file uploads, Rights Managed Contracts in the NFT metadata, Team NFTs, Carbon-Neutral marketplace and low $10 flat minting fees.
Q: It strikes me that SAVAGE is “carbon neutral”, but can you explain what this term means? How does this characteristic influence investors and the social environment? Are they the only project that includes carbon neutral?
Luke Neumann: SAVAGE is 100% carbon-neutral. The energy consumption FUD hit the creative communities hard in 2021. Many of our top creators have brand deals with companies like Tesla, National Geographic, BBC, Amazon and more. These brand deals would be revoked if these creators minted NFTs on the current marketplaces and so the majority of them haven’t. There is both a social pressure and a brand pressure that influencers need to maintain. Being carbon-neutral is crucial for our entire team, the marketplace but most importantly, our creators!
Q: What is your top 3 things for priorities in 2021? Could you share some plans for the upcoming year?
