thainhatminh: First of all, can you have a brief introduction about yourself as well as your project to all of our audience in this community?
Luke Neumann: Sure! My name is Luke Neumann and I’ve been a filmmaker for more than 10 years. I have worked with major brands like Amazon, Samsung, TCL, Adobe and more to create content and build their campaigns. We created SAVAGE to fix some of the issues that have been plaguing content monetization platforms for a long time.
thainhatminh: “Carbon-neutral” sounds quite environment-oriented. Could you share a bit more about it how it helps the environment and how it’s needed in the film and photography industry?
Luke Neumann: The energy consumption FUD hit the creative communities hard in 2021. Many of our top creators have brand deals with companies like Tesla, National Geographic, BBC, Amazon and more. These brand deals would be revoked if these creators minted NFTs on the current marketplaces and so the majority of them haven’t. There is both a social pressure and a brand pressure that influencers need to maintain. Being carbon-neutral is crucial for our entire team, the marketplace but most importantly, our creators!
thainhatminh: You claim that your content has been used by very large companies, but why have these companies decided to use your content? What will allow this to keep happening? Can you tell me about the best brands and companies that are supporting your project?
Luke Neumann: Well, to be honest, major brands have used our content because our team have all worked tirelessly to become some of the best in the world. The quality of the content is top notch! This speaks to the level of professionalism on the SAVAGE team but also our own experiences as creators. We know what creators go through and the problems that arise when trying to monetize content.
thainhatminh: While joining the SAVAGE Investor Spotlight discussion on TG, Lark Davis has mentioned that “Bringing NFTs to the photo space is just so obvious! The protocol that can make it super easy will dominate. ‘’ I am still confuse that how can a NFT marketplace do and what can we expected in the future?
Luke Neumann: There are 7 Billion people with a camera in their pocket. The photo and video landscape is massive and only continues to grow with each iPhone iteration. SAVAGE connects these two markets by working with some of the top creators and brands and by building a fair and ethical platform for them to sell their work on! We also made it a point to give legacy buyers an easy access point to crypto. By including Stripe as a payment mechanism, legacy brands can pay for an NFT with a credit card.
thainhatminh: As one of Savage core missions, empowering content creators to receive fair value for their work, what scheme that Savage offers to them, how will they benefited from ecosystem?
Luke Neumann: Giving the creators 98% of the sale is an industry first. In the legacy world, creators are used to making only 50% and sometimes as low as 30%! This is something that we believe needs to change and at SAVAGE, we want to be a leader in that change.
thainhatminh: Can you describe the ways to own $SAVG token and explain what is the use case of $SAVG? What is the incentive for market demand of $SAVG token? Can you convince us about long-term potential increase in $SAVG market value?
Luke Neumann: Of course! Our two way IDO starts on December 15th on OccamRazer and FantomStarter!
$SAVG is our on platform utility token and it serves many purposes. Users can stake, participate in exclusive competitions and giveaways but ultimately it will be used for governance in the DAO.
Q: Currently a lot of people are looking at NFTs, metaverse, and games. Can you tell me what advantages will you have in this field future? #SAVAGE #CARBON #NEUTRAL
Luke Neumann: We are one of the first NFT marketplaces to really focus on video content and have set up our marketplace to work with the video format well. 2GB uploads and the ability to upload high resolution files like ProRes and 8K resolution give us a major first mover advantage. Plus, we have all of the brand connections and are working with the best creators in the space. I believe SAVAGE will be the first video content provider of the Metaverse :)

Luke Neumann: We have operated as a legacy company for about 3 years and have worked with major brand to provide high quality footage for their marketing campaigns. The NFT side of SAVAGE has been in development for about 6 months and the marketplace is looking beautiful. We can’t wait to share it with our community!
