SAVAGE is excited to introduce our COO, Jesse Roos.
Jesse is a full-time commercial, travel, and adventure photographer based in Oregon. With an accomplished portfolio of working with brands such as Sony Alpha, Outside Magazine, Honda, and many more, he brings a keen attention to detail and creative eye to the SAVAGE platform.
His artistic approach is fueled by a passion for bold exploration and an unwavering dedication to his craft. Through his collaborative spirit, he has been able to forge strong relationships throughout the industry.
Growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest instilled a deep respect for the outdoors and ignited his passion to protect nature. This desire to Leave It Better brought a positive influence to SAVAGE and has helped cultivate its focus on environmental conservation.
Another meaningful aspect of the platform for Jesse is the ability to help support fellow artists:
“My mission and driving force as the COO of SAVAGE is to empower and enrich creators by enabling them to be fairly compensated for their content,” notes Jesse.
Legacy platforms have a history of unfairly compensating photographers, filmmakers, and artists for their work, sometimes taking in excess of 70% cuts.
This changes with SAVAGE.
Jesse is thrilled to be part of the team bringing artists the ability to have the freedom to display their best collections in unrivaled quality, in whichever format they choose, and for the SAVAGE platform to be governed as a DAO long-term, putting the destiny of SAVAGE into the hands of creators themselves.
When he’s not busy being COO, Jesse specializes in travel imagery, landscape, outdoor lifestyle, and adventure storytelling. He enjoys pushing the limits of exploration while adventuring responsibly.
